Mamer first gained fame as a dombra player and a modern master of Kazakh folk music. He later evolved into a prolific and versatile musician whose work spans from traditional to contemporary genres, having released over 20 albums.He leads eight distinct bands: IZ, Kunakar, 51-RAYON, Mekrop, TAT, Bande , Mask, and Ün. Each project explores different musical styles (primarily ambient, industrial, noise, improvisation, experimental, doom drone, and dark drone) with bass and guitar serving as the core instruments.
